WHEN USING ONLINE BANKING
Why can't I use the Back and Forward navigation command in the site?
The back and forward navigation setting will not work getting in and out of the bank@wbsavings. For security purposes, once the on-line bank is exited, you must sign in again with your unique user name and PIN number.
How secure is the site?
We provide our customers 3 levels of security for on-line banking.
Encryption
There are firewalls between the Internet and our production network, and on non-production networks. When information is sent via the internet, the information is "scrambled" or encrypted. The information is kept in a secure site and a series of PINs and firewalls provide protection of the information until the info is retrieved through another series of firewalls.
The bank@wbsavings is a secure document using a high grade RCA 128 bit encryption system issued by Verisign, where all data is "scrambled" between the bank and your computer to protect your financial information. (You can tell if you are looking at a secured document if there is a lock graphic somewhere along the bottom of your screen.)
PASSWORD or PIN (Personal Identification Number)
You must select a PIN number that you will enter each time you log in. You may change your PIN at any time. Please remember to keep it confidential as you would a ATM card PIN, it should be a unique number and letter sequence, a combination of letters and numbers is required. Do not use readily available numbers like date of birth, spouses name, phone number etc.
Time out
The system has a time out feature, if there is no activity, the session will automatically terminate to protect you if you should happen to leave the session open and then leave your computer.
Multi-factor Authentication
Layered or Multi-Factor Authentication is used for compliance with the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) guidelines when accessing account information electronically. The process used by West Bend Savings Bank is called Layered Authentication.

ON-LINE BILL PAY
How does the bill pay feature work? Bill pay is an automated feature that allows you to take care of paying your bills from your home computer. Simply list the payees and specify the payment amount and the due date of the bill . You may send a single payment or set up recurring payments to an individual or business. In one sitting, you can program the bills for the month without writing out a check, or worrying about stamps, or going to the post office. Your payments are listed as pending payments and can be changed or deleted up to 4 days before the due date.
How do Electronic Bill Payments Work? When you make an electronic bill payment, West Bend SavingsBank typically turns the payment over to a bill payment service provider for processing. The service provider determines whether the payee can receive an electronic payment, and if so, sends an electronic payment. If the payee cannot receive an electronic payment, the service provider sends a paper check. You can sit down once a month and program in all of the bills to go out that month, you can even set up a years worth of bills on the system, it allows up to 99 payees to be listed.
How do I get started with on-line bill pay? Organize all of the information about the accounts you want to pay through the bill pay feature. Gather :
Payee Name
Payee Payment Address
Payee Phone Number
Your account number (or how you want the bill to be credited to the payee)
Go into the "add new payee" screen and begin entering the information for each of the payees, bills can be set up as one time payments or recurring payments and may be edited up to 4 days before the due date.
How do I know the payment has been made? The funds will be withdrawn from your account when the check clears or on the due date if it is an electronic payment. If you are concerned about a particular payment, please call our customer service department at 262 334-5042 or 1-800-924-7309 Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:00 PM Central Standard Time
How does the recurring payment feature work? A recurring payment is a payment made to the same payee in the same amount on a recurring date, for example, you could set up a recurring auto loan payment of $200 to be paid every month on the 15th. To set up a recurring payment, type in the payee information on the new payee/payment screen and designate the date and frequency of payments. The recurring payments will show up on the pending payments screen, only one will appear at a time, after the payment is made the next date will show on the pending payments screen .
Why can't I schedule the due date less than 4 days prior? Most payees will accept electronic payments, however, some do not. A check will be issued and processed through the U.S. Mail, or an electronic payment will be sent the four day window guarantees the payee will receive the payment prior to the due date. The funds remain in your account until the due date or until the check clears.
What if I don't have enough money in the account to cover a bill payment? If the funds in the account are insufficient to cover a bill payment, overdraft fees will be assessed to the account.
What is the difference between semi-monthly and bi-weekly payments? Bi-weekly affects the account every other week. This might mean that an account will be affected more than twice a month. Semi-monthly affects the account only twice a month. The payment frequency is paired 15 days apart. Example: if a bill's first payment is on the 10th of the month, the second payment will be the 25th of the month. If the payments are set up as bi-weekly, the first payment will be the 10th, the next payment on the 24th and the following month will be on the 7th or 8th of the next month)
How many times can I pay a bill? You can choose a one time payment , or a recurring payment. You choose when you want the payment to come out, how much the payment can be, and who the check should be made payable to. It's as easy as that. Once you have the information in, you can sit back and know that the payment will be taken care of. It will be listed on your normal monthly statement.
Who do I contact if I have questions or problems? If you have any problems or questions, please e-mail to bank@wbsavings.com or call our customer service department at (262)334-5042 or 1-800 -924-7309 customer service hours are: 8:30AM-5:00 PM Monday thru Friday Central Standard Time
